Our client, dedicated to production under organic regulations, needed a greenhouse with greater sealing and security due to the recurring incidence of pests in the area (where low-tech structures predominate).
Challenge & Approach
Our challenge was to find the balance between good management and protocols put in place by the client, and the choice of an adequate production structure, such as the Aero Everest FILCLAIR type greenhouse, which would contribute to the solution.
As a background, the client had suffered almost 100% production losses due to parasites on previous projects (non-Filclair), while our project had an impact of around 10%.
Results & Characteristics
The company is family-owned and currently has an area of 14 hectares.
In addition to providing them with solutions for their greenhouse, we recently provided them with a high-tech nursery for the development of seedlings.
In the future, they hope to be self-sufficient, in addition to being able to provide healthy and vigorous plants to other farms in the region.
